Dr. McKim C. Peterson, President and Founder of Midcoast Medicine, is a board certified Maine physician specializing in Family Practice. Upon purchasing a retiring physician’s practice 16 years ago, he quickly realized that his style of putting the patient first was the correct vision. The public response was so great that additional physicians were soon needed, a brand new facility was built, and Midcoast Medicine was born.

Dr. Linda G. Peterson, Co-owner and Founder of Midcoast Medicine, is a board certified psychiatrist. She is currently retired from practice but remains an owner of Midcoast Medicine.

Dr. Doreen Kendall, is a board certified Family Medicine physician. WE ARE PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THE RECRUITMENT OF DOREEN KENDALL, DO; ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS NOW FOR APRIL 1ST STARTING DATE.

Dr. Kendall received her physician training right here in Maine at the University of New England, College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford.  Her residency was at Florida Hospital.

Dr. Kendall is OPEN to new patients without Medicare.  Please call if you would like information.

Dr. Mary Ashmore, Co-owner of Midcoast Medicine, is a board certified Maine physician specializing in Osteopathic Family medicine. Dr. Ashmore brings a complete approach to patient’s health focusing on prevention and healthy lifestyles.

Medical school: University of New England, College of Osteopathic Medicine; Residency: Central Maine Medical Center.

Dr. Ashmore is open to Medicare and to new CSH patients.

Dr. Brian Pierce, Co-owner of Midcoast Medicine, is a board certified Maine physician specializing in Family Practice. Dr. Pierce, a former Air Force physician, pioneered electronic medical records in the Midcoast region, continuing Midcoast Medicine’s leadership role in group Family practice.  He volunteers at the Knox County Health Clinic in Rockland.

Medical school: Dartmouth Medical School; Residency: Malcolm Grow Medical Center, Andrews AFB.

Dr. Scott Chaffin, is a board certified Maine physician specializing in Family Practice. Dr. Chaffin is also Board Certified in Holistic Medicine; one of only three physicians in Maine to achieve this distinction.

Medical school: Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine; Residency: Central Maine Medical Center, Lewiston Maine.

Ali Auclair, PA-C, a Nationally certified Physician Assistant, has been with Midcoast Medicine for 6 years. Ali graduated from the University of South Alabama in 2000. In this time, Ali has built a loyal patient following.

Ali is OPEN to new patients without Medicare.

Kristin Kalajian, PA-C, a Nationally certified Physician Assistant, has been with Midcoast Medicine for 6 years. Kristi graduated with MS from University of New England, Biddeford, Maine's Physician Assistant program in 1998.  Kristi enjoys the ability to spend as much time with her patients as they need.  Kristi volunteers at the Knox County Health Clinic in Rockland.
